At Island Homemade Ice Cream we create hand-made, small-batch, gourmet ice cream and sorbet.
Founded in 2004 the company has a well-established reputation for consistently producing superb, high-quality ice cream and delivering top-notch customer service.
We are all excited to embark on this creative adventure and hope, with your help, to contribute our next chapter to the ongoing story that has made Vermont ice cream and dairy products synonymous with excellence.
We offer over 15 flavors of delicious homemade ice cream and we’ve thrown in a few sorbets for those who prefer dairy-free options. Available for sale in pints, or in a cone from your local scoop shop, our tasty ice cream always satisfies.
We use high-quality and great-tasting ingredients, most of which are local. For example, our mix is from Kingdom Creamery in East Hardwick, our maple syrup is from West View Maple Works in Grand Isle, our chocolate from Barre Callebaut in St. Albans. The list of local products goes on and on!
We work with distributors like Associated Grocers of New England, Performance Food Group, and Capital Candy, who help deliver this frozen treat across the state of Vermont.

We are located in Vermont. Our milk is from Vermont cows and we use local products.
We make over 50 fantastic flavors of ice cream and sorbet. Our best sellers: French Vanilla Bean, Chocolate Supreme, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Island Coconut, Maple Walnut, Maple Bacon, Sea Salt Caramel, Mint Chocolate Chip, Coffee Chip, and Pink Grapefruit sorbet fly off the shelves.
